1) Sometimes Tattle feels a bit sorry for him.  Don does try so hard.
2) Another point to keep in mind - Tattle doesn't create or lose mass, only shifts it around.  The bigger Tattle chooses to appear, the weaker it makes them, because a giant body ends up being mostly air.  Something like the lump monster is basically a big balloon.  Good for being intimidating looking, but not much else.
3) Kilm religions used to be a lot more diverse, but currently exist either as a form of worship of the gods (an argument can be made for this actually being several religions or sects rather than a single religion), or animism, which does not acknowledge the gods, but instead worships the lesser spirits.  Literally NO ONE in the Shades of Gray cast would know this answer off-hand, but I liked the question, so the internet had to save the day here.

5) It's easier to go wage war against a civilization if you don't think of them as people just like you.
6) A more objective answer here would be that the kilm contract portions of their military out to interested parties, provided that the deployed kilm will not engage in any situation that would directly harm the kilm themselves, their interests, or their allies.
